Dr Uncles put my mind at rest regards to a worry I had . He was very professional but I was also able to have a light hearted joke with him. He made me feel very relaxed and guided me through my anaesthetic . He kept my family informed on my recovery following the operation which was very reassuring for them

Very friendly and explained the procedure clearly and concisely. This was both at the bedside and again in the anti theatre room.

Doctor Uncles explained what was to happen before, during and after the procedure.He offered me the opportunity to ask about the procedure and gave answers to my enquiries. He has a good approach to patient support and reassurance.

Having ben cared for recently by David I can safely say that I could not have asked for more. I still can't believe that I did not experience any nerves under his care and even managed to participate in a joke when my veins wouldn't play ball! He put me totally at ease and kept me calm and relaxed. Thank you so much for making this such a painless experience for me both mentally and physically.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
